Support for your child
I offer support for children aged 0-16 years with a range of speech, language and communication needs.

To get started with support, we'll arrange an initial phone call where you can tell me about your child. During this, I'll answer any questions you may have about speech therapy.
​
If you choose to proceed with further support, an initial assessment will be arranged which provides an opportunity to explore your child’s strengths and areas which require further support. Following this, we will discuss therapy options, and tailor support to suit your child.

For assessment and therapy sessions, I can either visit your child at home, or within their educational setting.
​
Comprehensive assessment of your child's speech, language and communication skills. This may focus on your child's speech sounds and how they produce words, on how they build and understand spoken sentences, or on how they communicate and interact with others.
Assessment includes:

A 60-90 minute visit

A case history discussion around your child's development and skills

Completion of one-to-one assessment activities and observations of your child's communication skills

Travel is included within a 5mile radius of the therapist's base (Market Deeping) outside of this, mileage is charged at 45p per mile for a return journey.

Therapy
Therapy is offered based on each child's needs. These usually target a specific skills, such as the production of a particular sound.

Therapy sessions include:

45 minutes of therapy activities

verbal feedback and any recommendations for supporting progress between visits.

resources for ongoing practice if required

support in between therapy sessions via email or phone call

I also offer video therapy sessions (known as teletherapy) where deemed appropriate for a child.
